Abbie Harrop

Head of Marketing , HUB

Since joining HUB in March 2023, Abbie has played a pivotal role in shaping the agency’s culture and commercial success through a people-first and growth-driven approach. She has strengthened internal alignment and employee engagement by introducing weekly roundups, quarterly socials, and interest-based Slack channels that connect remote and office teams.

Her relaunch of employee wellbeing initiatives, including enhanced benefits, yoga, and meditation, alongside her advocacy for neurodiversity accommodations, has fostered a more inclusive workplace. These efforts contributed to a significant rise in employees feeling supported (42% to 69% in only two years) and reduced staff turnover to a record low of 7% in 2025 during a period of rapid headcount and commercial growth.

Commercially, Abbie has driven exceptional new business performance. Following HUB’s rebrand, which she led, she implemented a targeted marketing and outbound strategy that delivered 79% YoY revenue growth (2023–2024) and 102% growth in 2025. Her strategy led to winning major partnerships, including Smyths Toys and Mattel, leading to global creative media campaigns and award-winning product launches.

Abbie has also been instrumental in building industry credibility and client trust. A flagship event she organised with major broadcasters generated valuable content and contributed to the agency winning retailer Jorvik Tricycles as a client. The resulting TV campaign delivered outstanding results, including a 94% revenue increase, and won a major industry award.

Finally, she led HUB’s successful submission for Full Service Agency of the Year in 2025, strengthening its market reputation and helping to attract senior talent. Looking ahead, Abbie aims to expand HUB’s marketing capabilities, launch a flagship industry event that promotes best practice and innovation in mixed-media marketing, champion EDI initiatives, and mentor more young people from working class backgrounds to help them enter the industry.
