Sarah Hamilton

Content Director , Wavemaker

Through her MSc in Sports Marketing Sarah identified the role media can play in society and leverages this, demonstrating her commitment to positive change. Sarah shows the ability to create work that delivers against the business objectives for her brands, designing and executing campaigns that not only generate demonstrable positive societal impact but also champion diversity, inclusion, and equality.

With her work on the Asahi x Women’s Rugby World Cup campaign, Sarah not only promoted women’s sport with the same commitment as men’s but also deliberately spotlighted the grassroots communities that form its bedrock. By featuring these communities, the campaign powerfully championed DE&I, while also demonstrating the profound role of grassroots sports in fostering community development.

Sarah’s impact is equally evident on the commercial front. She has driven impressive year-on-year growth in partnership revenues for her two core clients with increases of 138% and 54% respectively. This impressive commercial success is a direct result of her unwavering tenacity and a proven track record of orchestrating and executing incredibly successful, high-impact partnership campaigns. Her dedication to deeply understanding client needs, has cemented deeper relationships, as shown by securing pivotal first-ever partnership work for brand-new clients. This dual capacity to drive both commercial success and meaningful societal impact has fuelled her growth from Executive to Director within four years of joining media.

Sarah has looked beyond client achievements and is a true champion of growth and innovation within the agency, actively spearheading initiatives within Wavemaker across talent development, creativity, and sustainability.

Blending commercial acumen with a powerful drive for positive societal impact, underscores Sarah’s unique ability to deliver meaningful results for clients while championing progressive change within the media industry.
